   1. I will never understand how our politicians did not take this into consideration when they decided to remove masks.

      1. Fully agree. It’s premature.

         Some good news to report:

         – UK case numbers are in steady decline. That’s good, because they do have BA.2, which is increasing. But the decrease in BA.1 cases is offsetting the increase in BA.2 cases.

         – Perhaps coupled with that bit of good news is the fact that reinfections with BA.2 – for someone who contracted BA.1 – are rare and usually mild. This is preliminary data from Denmark. Encouraging, though the numbers in the study were small.

         1. Very encouraging for those who had 1 I guess. How about vaccinated folks? And do we know if it produces the same long-term affects even if mild!
