DAYS 1-5 (APRIL 24-28)
High pressure hangs on with fair weather across the region today. Temperatures will be fun to track for a while, starting with chilly morning lows followed by a quick rise that is thwarted by a coastal sea breeze, setting up a significant contrast in high temps between the coast and inland. A warm front will cross the region tonight and early Friday, perhaps with brief light rain for southern NH / northern MA though most areas stay dry. This front may try to slip back south southwestward as a back-door cold front into southeastern NH and possibly northeastern MA during Friday, so the temperature forecast is a bit tricky, and there may even be an additional rain shower or two near that boundary. A more significant warm sector push takes place Saturday with a southwesterly air flow across the region, but accompanied by lots of clouds and at least a couple rounds of rain showers. Still working on the timing / coverage forecast details for this, but for now just plan on an unsettled day in which it can rain at any time. Behind a cold front comes blustery, cooler weather for Sunday, with a sun/cloud mix as some cold air aloft causes some instability. There may be a diurnal rain shower or two (maybe some graupel if heavy enough?) across parts of the region, but overall look for a dry day. High pressure dominates Monday with fair weather, a chilly start, then a nice temperature recovery.
TODAY: Sunny to partly cloudy. Highs ranging from 50-57 immediate coast (coolest Cape Cod) to 68-75 inland (warmest interior valleys). Wind variable up to 10 MPH with coastal sea breezes up to 15 MPH.
TONIGHT: Variably cloudy with brief light rain possible northern MA and southern NH. Lows 45-52 evening, with a slow rise overnight. Wind SE shifting to SW up to 10 MPH.
FRIDAY: Sun/cloud mix. Highs ranging from 55-62 South Coast to 68-75 inland areas west of the I-95 belt, but may turn cooler southeastern NH and northeastern MA. Wind SW 5-15 MPH except possibly NE for a time in southeastern NH and northeastern MA.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Variably cloudy. Patchy fog. Lows 50-57. Wind S 5-15 MPH.
SATURDAY: Variably cloudy with rain showers likely. Highs 61-68, cooler Cape Cod. Wind SW 10-20 MPH.
SATURDAY NIGHT: Clearing. Lows 45-52. Wind W 5-15 MPH.
SUNDAY: Sun/cloud mix. A brief shower of rain (low chance of graupel mix) in the afternoon, favoring southern NH / northeastern MA. Highs 56-63. Wind NW 10-20 MPH, higher gusts.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Clearing. Lows 35-42. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 63-70. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.
DAYS 6-10 (APRIL 29 – MAY 3)
Warmer weather April 29-30 with fair weather April 29 then a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with a cold front approaching during April 30. Watching for cooler and additional unsettled weather in the early days of May, but uncertain as to how the pattern is going to set-up during thiss period.
DAYS 11-15 (MAY 4-8)
Continued indications of blocking evolving with increase unsettled weather chances and variable temperatures.
Good morning and thank you TK.
Watched Twisters again and enjoyed it more than the 1st time.
Far superior to the original Twister movie with Much better effects.
Thanks TK.

A soggy Saturday ahead.
Logan is at 52 and ALREADY a light SE breeze at 3 mph.
That will only freshen and keep Logan an ICE BOX today.
Let’s see what it is here: 59
7 degree difference already. I “could” possibly reach 70 here today while Logan likely remains in the 50s, if not the upper 40s.
Of course, if that sea breeze freshens enough, I will feel the effects here as well and our temperature will respond downwards.
60 here, 54 at Logan
Thank you, TK
56 up from a low of 40
Thanks TK
I watched Twisters at the movie theater last July. I loved the movie.
When I first viewed it I liked it, but I absolutely loved it
the second time around. I was better than I originally thought.
🙂
Still haven’t seen it. 😉
Eventually …. maybe. 🙂
It is FREE on Amazon Prime, which isn’t exactly free is it?
But, NO additional charge anyway.
WATCH IT! I am sure you will see things that make you want to say are you shitting me????!!!!!!
But just lay back and enjoy and ignore any of that stuff.
55 at the airport, 63 here.
BUT it was up to 64 here, so now I am wondering if we
are beginning to feel the effects of the light sea breeze?
I don’t think so as wind is ONLY 5 mph from the SE at Logan.
That should be totally and completely ineffectual here.
Thank you TK!
Thanks, TK!
Logan is at 57 with an East Wind at 10 mph.
64 here. It will be interesting to watched this throughout the day.
Now 65 here and still 57 at the airport.
It still boggles my mind that the weather data
for Boston is from the airport. NOT NOT NOT representative of the rest of the city. I understand why it is there, but that does not mean I have to like it as I clearly do not!
Would be much more happy with the Boston Common or even Copley Square, but the airport??? NOPE! NEVER!!!!!!!!
Public Gardens would be fine as well.
70 here in Quincy
68 here and 61 at the airport.
Just walked down to the center for a hair cut.
What a beautiful day! I rate it a 10!!!!
Could feel the sea breeze, but it didn’t feel cold, just the slightest hint of some cooling. SUN is blazing hot. Felt rather warm out there.
It is currently 63 at the airport with an EAST wind at
18 mph. How is the temperature 63? with the ocean temperature out there at 45.5.
I am truly stunned! I’ll take it for sure!!!!
btw, 69 here now with an East Wind. 🙂
What a really really nice day!!!!!
My Weekend Outlook is up:

You certainly get around. Enjoy!!!
Thanks! Enjoy!
72 here. yay!
topped out at 73 today here. What a beauty!!!! Sorry, did I already say that a couple of times? Today was worthy of repeating that!!!!!!!!
Beautiful day weather-wise today!
Amen to that!!!
Watching Marchand play for FL is tough.
