Saturday June 13 2026 Forecast (8:11AM)

DAYS 1-5 (JUNE 13-17)

A stellar weekend, book-ended by cold fronts – the first of which is moving offshore starting this morning with a band of clouds lingering over southeastern MA, but the day will turn out basically sunny across the region and while it will be on the very warm to hot side, it will be much more comfortable in comparison to yesterday as dew points drop into the 50s behind the front. The relatively dry air will stay in place into Sunday before the humidity does come up a little bit later in the day, ahead of the next approaching cold front. This front will send cloudiness into our region, limiting the sun as the day goes on, but a shower and thunderstorm threat will hold off until night, arriving from west to east across the region at that time. This front will move through the region overnight and offshore early Monday, bringing another cooler, drier Canadian air mass into our region for Monday and Tuesday as well, though we’ll warm a little bit more Tuesday afternoon as an area of high pressure slides to our south, and further still on Wednesday as the high sits offshore. A warm front approaching the region may bring some clouds in by later Wednesday, but I expect that day to still be dry and comfortable.

TODAY: Early clouds southeastern MA, otherwise sunny. Highs 84-91. Dew point falls into 50s. Wind NW 5-15 MPH, a few higher gusts.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows 60-67. Dew point sub-60. Wind W up to 10 MPH.

SUNDAY: Sun filtered by high clouds. Highs 85-92 except 77-84 South Coast / Cape Cod. Dew point creeps back over 60 by late-day. Wind S 5-15 MPH, a few higher gusts possible.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy. A good chance of showers with possible thunderstorms from west to east. Fog patches. Lows 62-69. Dew point 60+. Wind SW 5-15 MPH, higher gusts possible especially around any storms.

MONDAY: Early clouds with a shower potential especially east, then a sun / cloud mix. Highs 77-84. Dew point falls into 50s. Wind NW 5-15 MPH.

MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear. Lows 56-63. Dew point lower 50s. Wind W under 10 MPH.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 78-85 except cooler South Coast / Cape Cod. Dew point upper 50s. Wind W to SW 5-15 MPH.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Clear. Lows 57-64. Dew point middle to upper 50s. Wind SW up to 10 MPH.

WEDNESDAY: Sun followed by clouds. Highs 79-86, coolest South Coast. Dew point 60+. Wind S 5-15 MPH.

DAYS 6-10 (JUNE 18-22)

Watching June 18 for a spike of high humidity and a thunderstorm potential as low pressure passes to our north. Cooler, drier weather end of week, warming over the June 20-21 weekend and beyond. The Summer Solstice occurs at 4:24 a.m. EDT June 21.

DAYS 11-15 (JUNE 23-27)

Continued mixed signals and inconsistencies in guidance out this far. Still leaning toward a progressive pattern with a couple disturbance bringing shower / thunderstorm chances and air mass changes.

  1. Thanks TK !

Wordle: 6. I will take that, happily. I had really nothing through 4 guesses only a couple letters after 5. But not much was left and my guess was real lucky.

  2. Thanks TK
It already feels more refreshing than the past two days. No thunderstorms today for my area. Back to back days with severe thunderstorm warnings. The storm yesterday packed more of a punch than on Thursday.

    1. Right, setting up for another miss. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Last night, our Local ch 10 Met, Pete Bouchard said that a POTENT system would be coming through on Thursday with Thunderstorms. That is about as specific as he got. Long way until Thursday, so we shall see.

  3. Good morning and thank you TK.

What a beautiful morning and refreshing compared to yeterday’s Crap!!!

    84, up from 73

    Ocean: 60

    Wordle: 5

Just wondering and I know we just about 1/2 way through the month, BUT is it possible this could become the warmest June on record? OR are we far from it?

I “believe” the record was 74.4 set in 2021. It seems like we must be reasonably close to that so far this month???

NOT as close as I thought. If I did all of my addition and division correctly, through yesterday, the monthly average temperature for June is 71 even.

We may not make the record, but it seems clear June will come in above average,

    1. OUTSTANDING!!!!
I thought I had in 3, but wrong last letter. Ditto in 4
Not until five did I pick the correct last letter. If I were more careful, my score should have been 4 today. 3rd guess was a most legitimate guess and I thought for sure it was it. Oh well, I made the train, Happy to be engineered by yourself. πŸ™‚

    2. A shocking 3 myself today! Nothing on first. Only the third letter on 2 and took a wild stab on 3 and nailed it. Sea of green.

  4. hmmm, I checked my sensor and it is NOT in the sun, yet it seems that for a couple hour period every morning from mid-may to mid-July, my sensor reads high. I wonder if there is some sort
of reflection going on? I dunno, but I have been noticing this.

I reported 84 here, yet all nearby stations are reporting about 79.

Interesting. By about 10AM it will be back to normal.

    1. We have a sensor for the HVAC system that is never in the sun. But it reads high in afternoon for a short period. It was 101 a few days ago. It seems it is heat from the nearby siding caused by reflection

  5. JPD .. Likely a reflection causing your high spikes on the temp readings. It’s fairly common and really hard to overcome unless you have an actual instrument shelter.

    1. Thank you. My sensor has been quite accurate, except for mornings a month or so either side of the Summer solstice.

      Oh well.

  6. I’m already quite concerned about Thursday’s severe weather potential 5 days in advance. The key word right now is “potential”.

The day could end up benign if things don’t line up just so, but if they do, it’s a set-up that carries higher potential than we typically see.

    1. When you are concerned 5 days in advance, it is time to take notice. Will be watching that one for sure.

  7. Ok, will be paying attention once you sort out day 15 πŸ™‚

Also wordle in 5 (and the wordle bot thought that was perfectly respectable today)
