Tuesday November 3 2026 Forecast (6:53AM)

DAYS 1-5 (NOVEMBER 3-7)

High pressure remains anchored to our south and east into midweek with fair, very mild weather. Details day to today include some cloudiness today due to warming aloft, the sunniest day Wednesday when record highs for the date can be challenged, and an increase in clouds Thursday with the approach of a trough and cold front from the west. It does now look like we can get through much of Thursday rain-free with the shower threat remaining mostly west of the region and not moving into the area until that night. This front will then become quasi-stationary Friday into Saturday as a wave of low pressure forms on it to our south then moves up across the region, increasing rain chances during Friday and into part of Saturday. There are some details to work out with this part of the forecast, including where a heavier band of rain may set up, and just how quickly everything winds down during Saturday as the system starts to pull away to the north and east. The next couple updates should serve to clarify these points. One certainty, our anomalous warmth will be a done deal by the end of the week as it cools back down.

TODAY: Partly sunny. Highs 66-73. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog. Lows 48-55. Wind SW under 10 MPH.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs 70-77 except a bit cooler South Coast / Cape Cod. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog. Lows 50-57. Wind SW 5-15 MPH.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy. Highs 66-73. Wind S 5-15 MPH.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Cloudy. Rain showers likely. Areas of fog. Lows 52-59. Wind S 5-15 MPH.

FRIDAY: Cloudy. Episodes of rain showers. Highs 60-67. Wind S 5-15 MPH, higher gusts South Coast.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Cloudy. Periods of rain. Areas of fog. Lows 48-55. Wind variable to NE 5-15 MPH.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain in the morning. Variably cloudy with a chance of showers afternoon. Highs 55-62 may occur before noon before cooling down. Wind N 10-20 MPH.

DAYS 6-10 (NOVEMBER 8-12)

Northwesterly flow evolves November 8-10 with a shower chance from a passing disturbance November 9, otherwise mostly dry conditions. High pressure builds in for tranquil conditions for Veterans Day – November 11 before we watch for the approach of a disturbance and more clouds and potential wet weather at the end of the period.

DAYS 11-15 (NOVEMBER 13-17)

Unsettled potential early period, then a trend back to drier. Temperatures near to above normal.

  1. Wordle in 5. However, after second guess, 3 letters in correct position and 1 that needed to move. According to NYT analysis I had 3 guesses left. I had to use all of them!

      1. Once the game is complete, it should shift to the Congratulations page where it displays the Guess Distribution. Directly below that there is a link “Wordle BOT gives an analysis of your guesses. ”

It will critique each guess. Very informative. Even if you have completed today’s game, it will still provide you the analysis.

  2. Thank you, TK. Our overnight high was 54 with a low of 47. Current is 50 with a 45 DP.

These 70s are making my Christmas (indoor) decorating feel less wintery. But it’s nice to feel the fresh air go through the house

  3. Wordle 4

One out of place letter from both guess one and two. A very lucky guess for three with last four letters in position.

  4. According to NBC news,

57,526,926 mail-in and early in-person votes cast nationally

    That’s amazing!!!

Looks like people are taking this election seriously!!!!

    1. Yes indeed. My wife works on the town elections. They recently spent 26 hours processing early and mail-in votes. The number of votes was impressive.

      1. Wow. I’m glad to hear that the turnout is good. I’m just praying everything is OK after the results come in.

Awesome that your wife works the elections . Please thank her for me too.

I suspect you know that was part of a steady diet for me from the time I could basically walk. It’s fascinating.

  5. Why do Boston radio and tv stations run political ads for NH? I don’t recall ever seeing those ads from the other adjacent states. It seems only NH.

    1. Many residents watch Boston TV stations as there isn’t much in New Hampshire. Makes perfect sense to me and by the way they have been doing this forever it seems.

    2. Because those stations, TV and radio, reach especially the massive amount of votes available in Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth and concord, NH.

  6. Thanks, TK!

I have been a poll worker/closer here in Taunton for more than 15 years. I count the hand count and write-in ballots after the polls close.

  7. Shocking Wordle today… none after first guess but nailed it on second for a 2….

    Wordle 1,963 2/6

    ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜

    1. Amazing 2. For some reason, you can’t share here that way you have to take a picture and then convert it. I don’t understand why. But I’m kind of chuckling and thinking that the non wordlers or happy that we aren’t all posting the graphic version
