  1. Hi y’all.
Like yesterday, today’s update will appear after 3PM. But this time not because of a slow serve, but rather a slow TK. BAHAHAHA

    1. Make that server, not serve. But maybe it’s a slow serve too… Wow, a couple really late nights at the beach. 😉

        1. Sure. Actually I saw 2 awesome moonrises. I have a picture or 2 I will probably post on my FB page later.

  2. A few comments, if I may, about the Pats and last night’s game.

    1. Garoppolo is the real deal. That guy can play. I liked what I saw.
    2. Austin Carr is a keeper.
    3. Jacob Hollister is a keeper and a nice compliment to Gronk on the other side.
    4. Cyrus Jones simply cannot play. Ship him out of town.
    5. I am concerned about Gostkowski. I believe he has the football equivalent of
    the golf YIPS.
    6. Although Deatrich Wise Jr. is touted to be a decent player and impressed in practice,
it didn’t take long for him to be injured (looks like perhaps a concussion). His history
shows him to be injury prone. Too bad.

I’m sure there is much more, but I am just not tuned in enough to catch some
of the finer points. I was lucky to garner the above. 😀

    1. Last night’s game??? What? Where? Apparently, I am spending too much time working and not enough keeping up to important things. Darn.

    2. Good points and I agree with all. I am interested in the battle of running backs (i know, not as exciting as the passing game). There’s no way they will carry them all. Bolden should go. He’s oft injured and he can’t consistently pick up running yards, but BB likes him in special teams. I hope they don’t keep him at the expense of someone like Deon Lewis.

      1. Dion Lewis ain’t going anywhere. If Bolden stays, it will not be
at the expense of Lewis. They love Lewis. BBhas some tough choices to make. We shall see.

I am more excited about the receiving corps. They have quite a crew and I don’t know who they will keep.

        At tight end, we have:

        Gronk
        Hollister
        Cotton

        At wide receiver and/or slot

        Julian Edelman
        Brandin Cooks
        Danny Amendola
        Chris Hogan
        Malcom Mitchel
        Austin Carr

At WR, that is one talented group. Can they keep those 5?

          1. I think at WR it comes down to Amendola and Carr. They are very similar players. As much as I like Amendola, I could see him being a surprise cut.

            1. You could be correct. However, I like
Amendola. BUT I like Carr, so far anyway.

Who knows, BB could cut Mitchel???
Although I like him as well.

The players will make it tough, but someone will have to go, I think.

It will be fun to watch. Who knows, there may be an injury and problem solved for a bit anyway.

I want to see Cooks play. My understanding is that he and Brady have been on the same page which is highly encouraging.

        1. It’s a great issue to have right? Most other teams are just trying to FIND players to complete their roster

  3. The only football thing I care about at the moment is how many games is Ezekiel Elliot going to be suspended for my team. I going with the mind set it is going to be four games but I heard reports it could be six games.

  4. I don’t disagree with you with that statement on that. There has been too many off the field incidents with this guy. He is a talented running back but he has got to grow up and mature. To me leaders on the team like Jason Witten need to sit him down and say your going to blow a chance of having a great career if you keep getting into trouble off the field.
The only good thing if he is suspended we got two good running backs Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris who should be able to move the football with the offensive line we have which is the best in football. If we could just get a better defense then we could start talking Super Bowl.

      1. Next man up now for the Cowboys. There is a hit to the running game but still got two good running backs who could do the job.

  5. Count me skeptical on any sort of large scale pattern change to the warm high pressure regime 10+ days out. Models have promised it for much of the summer, and it’s never really happened. For the next 10 days, I continue to see a mean trough in the Great Lakes with a train of shortwaves passing near or through New England. Pretty much what TK is thinking up through then. Temperatures not necessarily cool even with the troughs, but no heat waves in sight. A drier pattern than what we’ve seen lately as well. Widespread showers likely tonight, but most amounts probably only around a quarter inch. Storms tomorrow afternoon should be scattered and mainly confined to the west. Behind that, not much. To our north in eastern Maine, moderate drought is expanding.
